Real estate in Northeast Los Angles continues to be a rock star. While the median price of homes sold in Los Angeles County increased 8.5% last month, the number of sales fell 12.6% compared to July 2015.

However, the Northeast side performed handsomely. Here are a few key statistics for some of its select communities for July 2016. The percentage shows the median price increase from the same period last year.

Eagle Rock: median sales price, $760,000; +11.6%; 17 days on the market.

Echo Park: median sales price, $795,000; +16.5%; 29 days on the market.

Glassell Park: median sales price, $712,500; +12.1%; 19 days on the market.

Highland Park: median sales price, $687,000; +18.4%; 20 days on the market.

Mt. Washington: median sales price, $700,000; +1.0%; 21 days on the market.

Silver Lake: median sales price, $884,500; +7.6%; 19 days on the market.
